The Episcopal Church is the American branch of the worldwide Anglican Communion, which has over 2,000 years of catholic and apostolic tradition dating back to Christ himself. Our worship is centered around the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion), is traditional in nature, and we use the Book of Common Prayer. As Anglicans, we base our beliefs on Scripture, tradition and reason, and we strive for unity, while respecting diversity in God’s world.
Founded in 1856, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located in the beautiful bluffside city of Winona, Minnesota on the banks of the Mississippi River. We are a small but active faith community, whose members provide outreach in the immediate neighborhood of the church, in the greater Winona community, and in the Diocese of Minnesota.
