Everyone is invited to participate!
Purpose:
To offer prayers for those in need.
To practice our faith by following the commands of Jesus to pray.
To entrust to God the special petitions for support, healing, comfort and grace.
Procedure:
Prayers will be included for one week or for the period noted in the request.
Those interested in participating are required to:
- Agree to include prayer requests submitted to the prayer chain during their daily mediation/prayer time.
- Agree to maintain the confidentiality of all prayer requests/petitions.
- Sign up in the church office and indicate your preferred method of receiving the prayer requests: email [preferred method], phone or letter.
Prayer Chain Members:
Members will receive an updated list of petitions weekly. The church secretary will email the petition list to the prayer chain coordinator on a weekly basis.
Petitions:
To request prayers, people may call 452-5355 or email requests to the church office office@stpaulswinona.org, or written requests may be given to the parish rector or placed in the offering plate at church on Sunday morning. Emergency requests may be called in to the parish rector, who will provide guidance to the member of the prayer chain.
Please keep us updated on the status of the individual- after 45 days if we do not get an update- we will delete the request from the list.
